Our Story
In 2015 Pastor Gary Bulley of Living Stones Church in Cumming, Georgia met Eduvigis Nerio Lopez (Ed) during a mission trip in El Salvador. Gary discovered that Ed leads a ministry that focuses primarily on encouraging and equipping pastors. Ed and other national pastors realized how much Gary could help them expand their ministry and invited Gary to start a seminary. They insisted the need was great as most pastors in their country did not have any formal pastor training. Gary agreed to move forward with developing and executing a pastor training strategy that was contextual, accessible, and reproducible. The first class was taught in the Spring of 2016.
P2P has dramatically expanded since that first class, primarily through word of mouth. Soon we were in Honduras, Peru, Sierra Leone, and Belarus, and the ministry continues to grow. P2P courses have now been taught in over 30 countries, and we have trained over 8,000 pastors. In 2024, we taught 305 courses in 60 locations in 21 countries and graduated 28 cohorts. Our global team of over 150 staff and volunteers works hard and trusts God to bring P2P to even more pastors and places that need training.
