Our Story

Our Story

In 2015 Pastor Gary Bulley of Living Stones Church in Cumming Georgia met Eduvigis Nerio Lopez (Ed) during a mission trip in El Salvador. Ed leads a ministry that, among other things, encourages and equips pastors. Ed and other national pastors invited Gary to start a seminary. They insisted the need was great, and most pastors in their country did not have any formal pastor training. Gary agreed to move forward with a pastor training strategy that was contextual, accessible, and reproducible. They agreed and the first class was taught in the Spring of 2016.

Pastor Gary invited Alan Morris to join him in this ministry. Alan is the Executive Director of the North Central Missions Center in Georgia. Alan recruited other key pastors to serve as instructors, and to help write materials. These pastors included key team members Aaron Land, Scott Bosier, and Garry Barber. Additional pastors continue to join our team and make this ministry possible.

The school in San Salvador experienced success and soon expanded to Zacatecoluca and Usulutan. News of the program spread, and we received invitations to begin schools in Honduras, Peru, Sierra Leone, and Belarus. We now have 25 schools led by US pastors training over 1500 pastors in 10 countries, and will begin in 6 additional countries by summer of 2022. We also have more than 40 schools led by national leaders in these and in 4 additional countries.  Between our US and national partners, we are currently training over 3500 pastors and leaders.
